Meet The Dahlia Kids
Where Creativity and Growth Bloom Together
Milly, Gracie-Mae, and Lexi—the Dahlia Kids—started their journey in 2021 by opening the Green Footed Kiwi Pick Your Own Dahlia Farm as part of a homeschooling project. What began with 20 dahlia cuttings from a lovely lady in Kerikeri then flourished into something much bigger. Their farm spanned over 900 meters of dahlia beds with approximately 3,000 plants. Over time, the Dahlia Kids embraced crossbreeding to collect and grow their own seeds. Their dahlia farm is now made up entirely from unique dahlia varieties found nowhere else in the world.
But flowers are just the beginning. Inspired by their homeschooling philosophy—where learning is an adventure and creativity knows no bounds—the Dahlia Kids have expanded their vision to include cabins, books, and art.

Cabins - Rustic Escapes
Our cozy cabins are nestled among the vibrant dahlia fields, offering guests a tranquil escape and a chance to connect with nature. Visitors can enjoy shared meals, kiwi listening night walks, and hands-on workshops, creating memories that last a lifetime with new friends.
Books – Stories of Growth and Imagination
The Dahlia Kids have turned their passion for learning and creativity into published works. They write, illustrate, and edit their own books, sharing inspiring stories about family, farming, education and the beauty of following your dreams. Each book reflects their homeschooling journey and encourages others to embrace their unique paths.
Art – Expressions of Beauty
From Gracie’s stunning dahlia photography to Milly’s intricate pencil drawings, the Dahlia Kids bring their artistic talents to life. These creations are available as canvas prints and original artworks, perfect for adding a touch of nature and creativity to any space.
